The Real Happy Hour

I hope you had a good week at work! It’s all about to be over, until Monday at least. Why don’t you stop by at one of the divest dive bars known to man? Seems like a good idea. You’ve been there before, many times actually. Too many times to count, and its always uneventful. But you feel different today. The energy in the ether around you is a little more exciting than normal. It could be the super moon, or it could be the fact that you happen to be at the right place at the right time. Welcome to the real happy hour.

Yep, that’s the place. I wonder if the regular crowd is inside. Better light up a cigarette before you go in. By the way I do not condone smoking, but I know it happens. Njquitnet.com help me quit almost six years ago. Check it out.

There’s the owners Jeep. You know he’s inside. Maybe he’ll buy you a shot. You have this feeling something good is about to happen but you can’t put your finger on what it is.

Whats that? Next to the Red Bull? Is that? It couldn’t be…

It is! It’s 5 bucks! Happy Friday and happy weekend. Say it with me, “I found money today!”

Tip The Corner

For whatever reason, I felt like stuffing a $5 bill into a corner right by a construction site. I figured it would stay put (it was so windy) and being that it was on 8th Avenue, I’m hoping that a homeless person will find it. Now some people will disagree with this, HOWEVER, this is about unconditional and anonymous giving. We don’t judge the recipient or what they do with the found treasure. As a matter of fact, the less money somebody has and the more they NEED it to fill a craving, the more excited they will be and the more taken care of by the universe they will feel. That is what we’re after here. We’re trying to make people stop and think “Hey, maybe today IS my lucky day”.

People usually work a little bit harder at life when they don’t feel like they’re working against the tide, but rather riding it into the shore.

This right here is the corner of 8th and 35th (not a great place to be unless you’re trying to find some trouble.)

But you’re getting closer to finding your luck.

So just keep going. You never know when the miracle is about to happen, but usually it’s JUST around the corner. Don’t quit 5 minutes before the miracle. Push through and get everything you deserve. (Refer to “3 Feet From Gold”, a wonderful book).

I hope you have a wonderful day you little $5 bill finder you!

Money Monday Morning

As soon as I woke up this morning I just knew that today was going to be a good day. I have so many great things going on in my life I barely even want to sleep. I forget exactly how the saying goes but it’s something about your life being more exciting than your dreams and that keeping you awake at night. I feel ready to tackle the day and I fight going to bed like a little kid because I don’t want to take a time out from living. But, we need to recharge, so I always do.

This Monday I was inspired to do something early, so as soon as I got out of my car it just felt right to throw down a little dough for ifoundmoneytoday.com

It all went down at Central Islip train station. It’s not the fanciest of places, but it gets the job done. It’s only one stop in on my line so there’s always seats . There’s plenty of parking and it’s right near my home, so I love it, but not everybody feels the same way about commuting. As a matter of fact, I would say that most commuters hate it, as illustrated by the amount of tilted back heads and open mouths on the LIRR every day. It’s like the adult version of “nap time”.

But imagine after a long day at work you come home via the train and you get off the freezing cold temperatures. You just want to get in your car and get home so you can do it all again tomorrow. Except this time is going to be a little different…

Here is your car.

Big white truck. I’m guessing you’re in construction and you really WORK for a living. Not like me. I talk for a living. Although my brain is exhausted at the end of the day, there’s nothing like physical labor to wear you down. Thank goodness you have a bar to step up on to get into that big truck.

What’s that? (This is where you tilt your head like a little puppy.)

Is that money??!

It sure is! Good boyyyyy (I have no idea where this post took a turn and became a post about puppies, but please just go with it). Thank you for all your hard work and dedication. You, more than anybody, deserve a little piece of planted joy for you to dig up and take home with you. Excellent job today and hopefully this will motivate you tomorrow. Have a great night because today you found money!
